After two years of marriage, She & Him’s Zooey Deschanel and Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard have separated. Rolling Stone reports that the split is “mutual and amicable,” and that “no third party is involved.”
The pair was married in September of 2009 and marks the second high profile split in the last month, with Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore also calling it quits recently. More on this story as it develops.
