Last night we here at One Thirty BPM went to see EMA and Wild Beasts (full review later). Midway through EMA’s set she ripped into a cover of the Violent Femmes classic “Add It Up.” Judging by the accomplished way that she and her band tore the song apart we knew it couldn’t be the first time, but we were surprised that we hadn’t heard about it sooner. Upon returning home we hungrily searched for some fan-recorded video of this performance from one of her other dates, and voila! Someone who saw her performance at the Botanique in Belgium a couple of weeks back captured a nice video of it. We recommend you watch it below.
