Following their triumphant return to America with performances on The Colbert Report and Saturday Night Live, as well as two shows at Roseland Ballroom, it seems Radiohead aren’t yet done with their taking of New York. Following tonight’s second performance at Roseland they’ll be sticking around over the weekend until Monday when they will be the musical guests on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to play the song “Give Up The Ghost” from The King Of Limbs. It makes me wonder what they’ll be doing in their free days. Well, their friends Portishead are curating ATP just down the road in Asbury Park over the weekend so…
Rather than depart into fantasy let’s stick with what is confirmed. Following their curation of ATP NJ Portishead will also make an appearance on Jimmy Fallon next week. It seems that after the Pink Floyd-themed week they’re having this week, their theme for next week is The Best British Bands (preferably ending in -head). No news yet on what song they’ll play yet (let’s dream once more that they’ll play a new one).
