Twilight soundtracks have traditionally been indie-heavy fare, with New Moon taking the cake with a brand new Death Cab For Cutie song, Bon Iver jamming with St. Vincent, and even Thom Yorke. So, the anticipation for what would be on Breaking Dawn Pt. 1‘s soundtrack was noticeably high. Then, news came out last week that the compilation would feature… Bruno Mars. Uh, yeah.
So, now with the complete tracklist for the Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 soundtrack, I can’t help but feel like I don’t know music that well. Sure, there are some acts we love on here like Iron & Wine (though, this is just a different version of the song that was featured on the first Twilight movie) and a new jam from The Joy Formidable, but otherwise, the field looks pretty thin on this go-around. Check out the full tracklisting below and look for the soundtrack on November 8th. For those of you who care, the movie will hit theaters on November 18th.
