Much like Girls did before the announcement of Father, Son, Holy Ghost, The Big Pink are teasing what seems like a new album on their website. Over a repeating music loop, the word “Big” appears largely on the screen, changing colors and flickering. Then, the screen changes and reads “19:30 13 September 2011.” Now logic would indicate that to mean an announcement of a new album, or, the longshot that they will just drop a new record at that time. The appearance of the 4AD logo at the bottom of the screen indicates it is something release related. I guess we will know on Tuesday.
