Dim Mak label head and polarizing DJ Steve Aoki has a new album coming out at the end of the year, and on it will be a single recorded with Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo. Yeah, that combination threw us for a loop, too. According to the below video of Aoki, the single should be out near the end of September, is called “Earthquakey People,” and also has a “dub version” that he recently debuted at a club in Vegas.
Can’t wait for the end of September? Well, the aforementioned video also has a teaser bit of the song, which sounds like a DJ working with Rivers Cuomo. I’m sure some of you will get a kick out of it. Enjoy.
