To me, it seems strange that 2:54 are only just releasing their debut album since I’ve seen them playing around London for at least a couple of years now. However, it seems they’ve taken that time to release a few singles and really perfect their sound before they go whole hog with the album.
But 2012 is the time; May 28th 2012 to be precise. Fat Possum will release the self-titled debut effort from sisters Colette and Hannah Thurlow, and they tell us that the album is “ripe with danger and beauty” and “is a record that thrums with life.”
