Suckers to return with second album in April, tour through May

Suckers’ 2010 debut Wild Smile was an extremely vibrant slice of art/indie pop that earned them comparisons to the likes of Wild Beasts, Vampire Weekend and Born Ruffians.

The band returns on April 24th with Candy Salad coming out through Frenchkiss, and judging by the album’s title and the above cover art, they have not lost any spirit in the time between Wild Smile and this. The album was produced by Matt Boynton who has previously worked with MGMT and Black Dice, which might give us some indication of sound.

For now we don’t have any track to preview Candy Salad but you might be able to catch them on tour doing that. They have a few dates before the album’s release and a whole host following it. Check out their live dates below following the Candy Salad track list.
