As we learned earlier today, Guns N’ Roses’ fabled Chinese Democracy is now slated for a November 25 release, exclusively through Best Buy. Now, the retail chain has updated the preorder page on its website with a full tracklist for the album, available below the fold.

This is intriguing, and leaves a few questions. A lot of these songs we know already. “Chinese Democracy” and “Madagascar” have been live staples since 2002. “I.R.S,” “Better,” and “There Was a Time” first leaked in 2006 in demo form, and new versions of these three have surfaced every six months or so since then. “Rhiad and the Bedouins” made its live debut in 2001, but was quickly dropped from the band’s set lists, and assumed to be scrapped, until a studio version was leaked this summer by AntiQuiet blogger Kevin Skwerl (who is currently under investigation by the FBI concerning the leaks). “If the World” was also leaked by Skwerl, and made its formal debut this month in the film Body of Lies. “Catcher,” formerly known as “Catcher in the Rye,” leaked in very rough demo form in 2006 and featured a guest solo by Queen guitarist Brian May.

A few of these songs have also been long rumored. “Prostitute” has been a title floating around for years in the GNR fan community, and appeared as an alternate on set list sheets on the band’s 2006 tour, although it was never performed. “Sorry” has been mentioned several times in the media by former Skid Row singer and current Axl sidekick Sebastian Bach. “This I Love” has also been a long-rumored title, and some believe it is the name of an untitled song leaked by Skwerl in June.

Which leaves one huge, unanswered question: Where the fuck is “The Blues”? A live favorite since 2002 that was leaked in studio form by Skwerl this year, “The Blues” is one of the best songs Axl has ever written. “Street of Dreams” is a lyric in the song, so our guess is that he just changed the title. We can only hope this is the case, because why Axl would leave a song this good off the album is baffling. I guess we’ll find out next month.
