The Tallest Man on Earth has signed to Austin, TX/Bloomington, IN-based record label Dead Oceans and will release his first album for the label on April 13. The album will be called The Wild Hunt and is the follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2008 debut LP Shallow Grave. The Tallest Man on Earth, real name Kristian Matsson, is set to tour Europe in February and March (see his myspace for dates), with plans for a US tour in the works. The first single from the album is called “King of Spain” and has been released for free online. Via Pitchfork.
