Just because The Strokes aren’t releasing an album any time soon, doesn’t mean that their fans can’t listen to anything new from any of theme. Just about every member of The Strokes has another project and now lead vocalist Julian Casablancas has decided to follow suit and start a solo career. Julian has finished his new solo album Phrazes for the Young. The album is expected to be released in the fall through RCA records in the US and Europe and through Rough Trade in the UK.
Julian Casablancas has been recording this album throughout this past year, in studios in New York, Los Angeles, as well as Nebraska. The producer of this album is Jason Lader, with production contributions by Mike Mogis. Some song titles that were released are “River of Brake Lights’, “Glass”, and “Ludlow St”, according to a press release.
