They’re (almost) here. The Smiths’ four studio albums, Meat Is Murder, The Smiths, Strangeways, Here We Come and The Queen Is Dead, will be back in print on vinyl in August. The records were remastered by Frank Arkwright and supervised by Johnny Marr, no less. The records are getting repressed on 180 gram vinyl, and will include the original sleeves, labels and original inner bags.
At $25/£13 a pop, these reissues will be well worth it, especially since each comes with a for an MP3 download of that album.
