Well, if you were expecting nice things from this Brit, think again.
During a recent interview about his new band Beady Eye with British online music site TheQuietus, the foul-mouthed ex-Oasis member was asked about the new Radiohead album that released a few weeks ago. He had some pretty harsh comments to say about their central topic of the album:
“I heard that fucking Radiohead record and I just go, ‘What?!’ I like to think that what we do, we do fucking well. Them writing a song about a fucking tree? Give me a fucking break! A thousand year old tree? Go fuck yourself! You’d have thought he’d have written a song about a modern tree or one that was planted last week. You know what I mean?”
Yikes! Radiohead, what were you thinking? Old trees suck, Thom. Let’s hope that your next album is about all those new trees out there. Not just for our sake, but for Liam’s.
