Soul singer Teddy Pendergrass has passed away at the age of 59 on January 13th. Reps say he passed away due to a rare illness related to his spinal injury. In 1982 Pendergrass was involved in a car crash that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Pendergrass also went in for treatment for colon cancer 8 months ago and was said to have had a “difficult recovery”.
