The release date of the Monsters of Folk uber-collaboration has been announced as 22nd September 2009.
It features Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes, Jim James of My Morning Jacket and M. Ward of solo fame and She & Him. The project has been rumored for many years, but this is the first solid detail we have from the new official website.
Do musicians these days never sleep? It seems all of these guys only recently put out an album and now they’re back to give us some more. Oberst in particular must be a candidate for the second most hard-working musician currently working (after Jack White of course).
We wait with eager anticipation for more details.
