While Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin has recently been seen cavorting around in an elephant costume, Hot Chip Man Joe Goddard has been preferring the bear suit look. His new project with Raf Rundell has already released a trio of EPs over the course of last year and this (stream the most recent one The Bearhug EP below if youre not up to date) and they have today announced that 2012 will see the release of their first full length.

The 2 Bears’ debut LP will be called Be Strong and is set for a January 30th release through Southern Fried. Preceding that will be a single called “Work” on December 12th. You’ll find the tracklist for Be Strong below.

The 2 Bears have also participated in the current Death Cab For Cutie remix project Keys and Codes, contributing a remix of Codes & Keys stand out “You Are A Tourist.” It’s quite different to the original. Check it out below.
