Now that Dinosuar Jr. are back to their original trio they’ve certainly been rejuvenated, and even though their last album Farm was brilliant, the band are taking time out to please the old fans instead. Although You’re Living All Over Me is generally considered to be their best album there are those amongst us who prefer Bug, and even if you don’t, you more than likely still think it’s an amazing album. Bug even placed quite high up in our Top 100 Albums of the 1980s, so we’re certainly excited to see the band play the album in full on tour. Additionally Henry Rollins will be interviewing the band onstage at each of the shows.
For now only the West Coast gets this treat, but if all goes well perhaps they’ll take Bug across the country. Dates are below.
12/12/11 Costa Mesa, CA: Segerstrom CFA w/Henry Rollins interviews, Pierced Arrows
12/13/11 Solana Beach, CA: Belly Up Tavern w/Henry Rollins interviews, Pierced Arrows
12/14/11 Los Angeles, CA: The Music Box w/Henry Rollins interviews
12/15/11 San Francisco, CA: The Fillmore w/Henry Rollins interviews
12/16/11 Portland, OR: Crystal Ballroom w/Henry Rollins interviews, Pierced Arrows
12/17/11 Seattle, WA: Showbox at the Market w/Henry Rollins interviews, Pierced Arrows
The vinyl reissues of Dinosaur Jr.’s first three albums – Dinosaur, You’re Living All Over Me and Bug – are now available at the SC Distribution store.
