Apart from the odd single here and there (often for film soundtracks), Bat For Lashes has been fairly quiet over the past year or so. However, that hush is set to disappear as Natasha Khan has announced her follow up to 2009’s quiet brilliant Two Suns. The Haunted Man will drop on October 15th in the UK via Parlaphone/EMI, which may or may not have anything to do with the Charles Dickens novella of the same name (albeit shortened). Going by the slightly heady concept behind Two Suns, I wouldn’t put it past her. We’ll have to wait and see, though, and we’ll find out soon enough as Khan is set to unveil material from the new album in her first UK gig in two years, in Cambridge. She’s also planned a selection of otehr UK dates, which you can check out after the jump. Stay tuned for more information on The Haunted Man.
