The insanely ambitious, and now annualized, 77 Boa Drums concert will be getting a proper DVD release this fall. Out September 7th on Thrill Jockey Records, the documentary will feature various Youtube videos along with the professional footage of Jun Kawaguchi and his crew.

Unfamiliar with the now three year old concert? Well 77 Boa Drum was a concert held in the Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park in Brooklyn, featuring 77 drummers all collaborating at the same time. The group included drummers for such bands as The Boredoms (whom the project was created by), Gang Gang Dance, Pixeltan, and Holy Fuck.
