Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit’s Here We Rest was released earlier this year, in April, and it’s still one of my favourite records released this year. Last night (in truth it was recorded on Thursday but broadcasted last night) they stopped by Late Show with David Letterman to perform “Codeine” on the show, and they also performed “Alabama Pines” and “Go It Alone” as web exclusives, and you can watch all three performances below.
