Longtime avant-garde artist Laurie Anderson appeared on Late Night with Letterman this week, bringing with her the single “Only an Expert” from her latest album, Homeland. Always the provocateur, Anderson added a particularly relevant and incendiary verse regarding the BP Gulf oil spill. Letterman’s show has been home to a couple of bizarre performances this week, this being one of them. Watch the video after the jump:
