First Aid Kit’s wonderful song “Emmylou” has been spinning around our heads and warming our bones ever since we first heard them play it on KCRW a month or two back. Now the official video for the single has been released, and it seems slightly strange to us that a song that references being cold in Stockholm has a video that’s filmed in the desert, but at the same time it works well with the alt-country vibes of the song. Check it out below.
“Emmylou” is from First Aid Kit’s upcoming second album The Lion’s Roar, due out pn January 24th via Wichita.
