Department of Eagles’ second album In Ear Park was released last week, five years after their debut, but it seems we may not have to wait quite as long for their next.
They have performed two new songs ’1997′ and ‘What is Your Deal?’ at their Daytrotter Session. ’1997′ was penned by Fred Nicolaus when he was “living in a yuppie apartment on the Upper East Side” whereas ‘What is Your Deal?’ is a new Daniel Rossen song that is “slightly unfinished with some loose ends.”
You can download these songs for free along with performances of ‘Phantom Other’, ‘Herringbone’ and ‘Balmy Night’ over at daytrotter.com right now.
