Here it is, the first new track out of the LCD Soundsystem camp since 2007′s Sound of Silver. “Bye Bye Bayou” is a cover of an Alan Vega (of Suicide fame) track from his debut self-titled album.
The “Bye Bye Bayou” 12″ single is due out November 24th on DFA Records. LCD Soundsystem’s third LP, expected out March 2010, will also be released on DFA. Contrary to popular belief, “Bye Bye Bayou” will not be featured on the album.
Here’s the MP3, get it while you can.
