The Bruise Cruise is returning in 2012 with a lineup that includes Fucked Up, Thee Oh Sees, King Khan and the Shrines, and many more. Today, a spin was placed on the event as Fucked Up’s Damian Abraham was also named as cruise director. What does this mean? Well, according to the press release, Abraham “will host a variety of concerts, workshops and special events through out the festival’s duration at sea.” This also takes the attention away from the band’s recent breakup rumors.

This also means Fucked Up is now directly involved with the promotion of the event, which will set sail from February 10th-13th. Below is a brand new Fucked Up track for cut “I Hate Summer,” which will be given to all attendees as a 7″, as well as a holiday themed commercial for the event.
