It’s a good day for hip hop. They may be cousins, and Key Glock may indeed be signed to Young Dolph‘s Paper Route Empire, but the pair’s relationship goes even beyond all that. They genuinely seem to share a deep camaraderie, and it shines through in their music.
Their styles and flows provide the perfect foils for one another, as was greatly displayed on their first full-length project together, 2019’s Dum and Dummer. Since then they’ve frequently appeared on each other’s releases, but now we’re getting an even great treat: they’re banding back together for Dum and Dummer 2, which arrives on March 26. Dolph says:
“Dumb & Dumber is one of my and Glock’s favorite movies. We do stuff in real life that’s just like they do in that movie. We just like having fun with everything we do.”
They already shared “Case Closed” from the record last month, and to continue the hype cycle, they’ve shared a new single, the organ-boasting, thumping “Aspen”. Check that out below, as well as the project’s cover art above.
