Yeasayer planning Odd Blood follow-up

Yeasayer have already earned themselves a great reputation after only two full-length albums, which charmed both fans and critics alike. But, besides the quality of their work, Yeasayer are also earning respect through their work ethic, as they have toured last year’s Odd Blood hard, and continue to do so.

The Brooklyn band are planning a final leg of support for Odd Blood, in which they will also be trying out some new material. Why play new songs you may ask? Actually, you wouldn’t ask that, as the answer is obvious. Yes, after this upcoming tour, Yeasayer will begin work on LP3. There is no timetable for the recording or release of said album, but knowing that the band will get right back to work is comforting, and, well, exciting.

The aforementioned tour is starting soon, and, as the press release notes, “is definitely a chance to see a new Yeasayer chapter open, while saying goodbye to the last one.” Check out the tour dates below.
