The Drums aren’t usually ones to stay quiet or mysterious about their music, or at least that was their MO in regards to the promotion of their debut album, but they seem to be taking a different appraoch for LP2. The Brooklyn quartet seems to have rapidly followed up their debut, but rather than simply come out and say what the album’s called and when it will be out they have given us a teaser trailer.
The only word in the video is “Portamento” which could well be the name of the album, or the name of the song playing, which seems like quite a new direction for The Drums musically. Make your own theories by watching below.
