Those of you hoping to come in here and hear a new Sufjan song: I’m sorry. “Pleasure Principle” is apparently the name given to the final acoustic segment of “Impossible Soul.” Sufjan and his band recently visited WNYC and put in a stellar rendition of this small segment. They are even joined by Bryce Dessner of The National! This is the culmination of Stevens’ current live tour and it’s a strangely cathartic moment.
