You have to love La Blogotheque. The French indie music site may be mostly in a foreign language to us but, as they say, music is a universal language. When you couple great music with the nooks and crannies of the beautiful city of Paris only magical things can happen and that is why La Blogotheque’s Take Away Shows feature is a constant source of wonderful entertainment.
The newest session features Spoon pressed into the corner of one of Paris’s many cafes on a grey afternoon. The band performed “Got Nuffin'” from most recent album Transference, “Black Like Me” and a particularly kinetic version of “The Ghost of You Lingers” both from Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga.
Check out the videos below, but if you want to get the audio, read more about the day or check out some of their other sessions (all of which are highly recommended) then head over to The Take Away Sessions on La Blogotheque right now.
