The next instalment in the Valtari Mystery Film Experiment has been a few days late in coming, but it makes up for this with a video that takes music from multiple songs. Valtari cuts “Ekki Múkk”, “Valtari”, “Rembihnútur” and “Varúð” are featured in the new video, where a couple meet in a crumbling warehouse and proceed to speak to each other through the medium of dance. While it is important to warn you of a little nudity that appears during the Christian Larsen-directed clip, what’s more noteworthy is the stunning choreography by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. The moves here are fluid and extraordinary, and when I say that the dancers – James O’Hara and Nicola Leahey – can move their bodies in wonderful ways, I don’t exaggerate. Watch it below, via Nowness.
