Carrying on with the Valtari Mystery Film Experiment, Sigur Rós have unveiled a new video for the Valtari track “Dauðalogn.” This particular video – credited to Ruslan Fedotow – was the winner of the “People’s Choice Award,” which beat competition from nearly one thousand other entries. And such an accolade is pretty good considering the crew who made it were finishing the video on the deadline day and set out with no real director, nor any kind of story. Despite all that, it’s a beautiful video, stark and introspective at varying points. Check it out below, and read more about it here. Next week sees the winner of the band’s choice, so stay tuned.
