In recent months Australian trio Cut Copy have been hard at work on their third album, the follow up to 2008’s wildly popular In Ghost Colours. The band says that the new album “is now recorded, mixed and just days away from being totally done,” which is great news. All the while that they’ve been in the studio camermaman peering over their shoulder recording the process and discussing it with them, the results will be put together as a full documentary. For now you can see the first five minutes on the band’s YouTube (or embedded just below). In this section the guys get their first ideas for the record.
It certainly seems to be a very interesting film and will certainly add to the hype around the third album. We will keep you posted about the availability of the full video and of course all the news on the third album itself.
