All this week videos are being released by various media outlets on the internet showing the French duo of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay – aka Justice – discussing the creation of their new album Audio, Video, Disco. Yesterday SPIN premiered the video of the pair talking about the opening tracks “Horsepower” and “Civilization,” and today we continue the talk with the guys telling us how they came up with “Ohio” and “Canon” (and “Canon Primo” in between).
Regarding “Ohio” they discuss working with Midnight Juggernauts’ Vincent Vendetta and his “human synthesizer” qualities. About “Canon” they tell us how they toyed with the idea of having a “medieval riff.” Check out the full discussions below.
Audio, Video, Disco is out now.
