The award for the track bringing the most unexpected joy today must surely go to Jennifer left’s new single “Diggory.” The English songwriter released “Diggory” this week in an EP form, ahead of her upcoming debut album Hushabye, and fittingly she’s got a video to go with the greatly enjoyable darkly-tinged swing track. The video follows a mime-like fellow as he works all day and then spends his money in the pub. Upon stumbling home he happens upon a theatre where Left and her band are playing.
