The latest song from Lightning Bolt drummer/vocalist Brian Chippendale, “1000 Years,” comes complete with a video animated by a younger version of himself. Â The crude animation is taken from flipbooks that Chippendale drew in 4th and 5th grade. A notable comic book artist in his own right, the drawings give a crude, though telling, look at the beginning of his infatuation with drawings and their associative meanings. Â “1000 Years” is taken from Chippendale’s upcoming album All My Relations, which is due out on March 18th via Thrill Jockey Records. Â Check out the video below.
