Washed Out, known as Ernest Greene to his friends, went a little quiet after releasing two much-loved EPs in 2009, but now he is coming back in full force in 2011. Not only will he be releasing his debut album Within and Without on July 12th, but he has signed to indie super label Sub Pop to do so.
The exciting news doesn’t stop there; Within And Without was produced by Ben Allen who has worked on Animal Collective’s Merriweather Post Pavilion, Deerhunter’s Halcyon Digest and Gnarls Barkley’s St. Elsewhere to name but a few.
