Today we reviewed the great new song from The War on Drugs, “Come To The City,” and it just so happens that the band have released the official video for the song today too. The colourful clip features several youths enjoying their summer in a sleepy village, seemingly desiring to go somewhere more active like, perhaps, the city.
The Peter J. Brant-directed video fits nicely with the theme and sound of the song, as well as the colours of the album’s cover art (seen above).
“Come To The City” is from The War On Drugs’ second album Slave Ambient, which is not out for two more weeks, but if you like what you’re hearing you can stream the whole thing over at Urban Outfitters.
