The start of The Kills’ new video for “Future Starts Slow” leads you to believe that it’s just going to be a standard live performance-dubbed-with-studio-recording type deal (which is not necessarily a bad thing, since The Kills’ live performance has been proven to turn skeptics into believers), but it has a little twist to it. Intercut with the live shots are candid clips of the duo on the road, in promotional situations, at airports and various other locations. But they’re always alone. This could be to show the loneliness of being on tour, or could be to show that all they need is each other to get through. Check it out below.
“Future Starts Slow” is taken from Blood Pressures, The Kills’ newest album, out now on Domino.
