The video for The Drums’ new single “Money” features the band walking around New York, playing in a basement and, strangely, convening with gun nuts. How the guns link up with singer Jonathan Hanwick’s lamentations about not having enough money to treat his girl is anyone’s guess. Watch the video below, and even if you don’t figure it out, you’ll have heard a great song in the meantime.
“Money” is from The Drums’ upcoming second album Portamento, which is coming out in the UK on September 12th through Island, and hopefully not long after in America.
