Everybody has those two or three bands that they’ll support and write about no matter the story. For me, Monster Rally is one of those bands. “Surf Erie” is taken from Monster Rally’s Deep Sea EP, released earlier this summer on Gold Robot. The accompanying video is the labor of fan and filmmaker Tyler Coray, shot at Lake Crescent on the Olympic Peninsula. Monster Rally might be the best music for getting lost in the woods, and the video for “Surf Erie” proves that.
