On September 13th Sub Pop are releasing a completely redone (rerecorded, remixed, remastered) version of Memoryhouse’s debut release from last year, The Years. It will be te first time the release will be available physically and it will feature two new songs.
One of those new songs is “Quiet America,” which has also had a video made for it. Jamie Harley directed the video which features Memoryhouse’s Denise Nouvion in a wide open space on a lake. It’s an extremely simplistic video, but it does an amazing job of capturing the beauty of the song and the idea of a “Quiet America.”
