Remember the Coldplay video for “The Scientist”? Chris Martin’s walkin’ all backwards and survivin’ a traumatic event in reverse? Yeah, so How To Dress Well’s new clip for “Suicide Dream 1,” the closing track off 2010 standout Love Remains, is sort of like that, only much, much trippier. I’d even go so far as to call this video “insightful,” though I can’t quite put my finger on why.
If nothing else, it’s a fun two minutes of poignant, fascinating visual salvia that captures How To Dress Well’s mysteriously woozy, lo-fi vibe for sure.
