The third studio album from esoteric but exciting High Places is out this week on Thrill Jockey. Original Colors is a bit of a departure from the band’s previous sound, a darker and more atmospheric ambiance. The video for “Sophia,” one the album’s more serene tracks, is equally hypnotizing on screen. Featuring some seductive and cathartic dancing by band member Mary Pearson, “Sophia” is worth a look.
