People who are confused about the story of Fucked Up’s rock opera David Comes To Life might have a little better understanding after watching the video for “The Other Shoe.” The Matt Eastman directed video starts the story with the titular character falling in love and the object of his affections getting into some pretty serious business. Simultaneously he is starting to have feelings for another woman. The video is very nicely shot and played out, and sets up the emotional crux of the story very nicely. Let’s hope that there are more of these to come.
