Virtue, the second album from London-based singer Emmy The Great, is due for release on June 13th in the UK and will be followed by a US release in August. We’ve already reviewed the lead single “A Woman, A Woman, A Century of Sleep” and even spoken to Emmy about the album, so we’re pretty excited for it. “Iris” sounds more lighthearted than “Century of Sleep” (although lyrically it is typically tense) and has a summery video of Emmy playing with a young girl and stop-motion scrabble sets writing out the lyrics. Watch below.
The single “Iris” is out next week.
