No denying that Philly rockers Dr. Dog have been one of the most consistently impressive bands of the past few years. They’ve tweeked and refined their sound from album to album, but the folk-rock revivalist sound they’re known for is alive and well on their new album Be The Void. The album is set to release on February 7th, via Anti-, and today we have our first look at the project. “That Old Black Hole” definitely takes a page from last year’s Shame Shame, as it’s a bit more rambling and rocking than folk inspired, but definitely shows a commitment to the band’s distinguished sound.
