A couple of days ago when we got the teaser for this video I said that it looked like a soccer player swinging a sword in a large empty room. The video has today premiered on Stereogum and proves that I wasn’t wrong, but that clip merely touched the tip of the random-sports-meets-battle-mashup-commercial-come-inspirational-video mindfuck that is the final video for “Need You Now.”
The only way to understand what I’m talking about is to watch it.
