TV on the Radio are on a long tour currently in support of their fourth album Nine Types of Light. As part of that tour they stopped off at NPR for a performance on their World Cafe series, and they seem happy enough with the recording to turn it into an official release.
Usually these types of EPs only see digital release, but TV on the Radio are putting out World Cafe Live on CD and 12″ vinyl too, and those who buy the physical album will receive an extra track; a performance of the Return to Cookie Mountain Favourite “Province.” World Cafe Live comes out on September 6th, but you can stream it below (without “Province”).
