On the heels of their first tourdates since 2009 at Outside Lands and Popped!, The Shins have expanded their touring to include some headline dates in intimate club settings. The band will stay close to home with dates in Eugene and Portland, and also will appear in Boston and Toronto.
On top of that news, we have indication that their setlists will feature new material from their as-yet-untitled fourth record, expected to be released in 2012 and completed by James Mercer following the tour. The band’s current touring lineup is Mercer (duh), Yuuki Matthews (bass), Jessica Dobson (guitar), Richard Swift (keyboards) and Joe Plummer (drums).
